I AM YE | Kanye West announces new change of name.

Controversial rapper kanye west has taken to his social media platform to announce his change of name from Kanye West to YE.

The rapper took to Twitter to announce that
he will now be known as YE, as opposed to
his original name, Kanye West.

He wrote, “The being formally known as
Kanye West. I am YE”.
This comes months after the release of his
album that goes by the same name.
While Ye is the last two letters in his name,
Kanye once explained the symbolism of the
name, Ye which he describes as “the most
commonly used word in the Bible”.

He said,
“In the Bible it means ‘you.’ So I’m you, I’m
us. It went from being Kanye, which means
the only one, to being just YE — just being
a reflection of our good, our bad, our
confused, everything.

I’m just more a
reflection of who we are.””

If this name change is real, then Kanye will
join the likes of Diddy and Snoop Dogg who
have been through several name changes.
