Independence from adolescents drug abuse |
Speaking with news men in Abuja on Friday, 28th September, 2018, VGADA President Dr. Hope Abraham Omeiza stated that:
“This event is tagged ‘Independence from adolescent drug abuse’ because of the recent increase in the incidence of drug abuse among adolescents across the country. This initiative has come to stay as we partner with various secondary schools in educating our children on the dangers of drug abuse.VGADA hope that this will lead to cascade of interventions in ensuring that our school children gain independence from drug abuse as this ugly trend do not only pose threat to the individuals who indulge but as well to our democracy and our togetherness as a nation.”
